A poster exhibition will take place throughout the conference and is an opportunity for you to present your work to other experts and colleagues working across medicine, surgery, travel medicine and podiatry.
Submissions on all aspects of clinical practice, including basic sciences, will be considered. The theme of your poster abstract should fall into one of the broad categories of medicine, surgery, travel medicine, or podiatry and must be original work.
Prizes of £500, £250 and £100 will be awarded to the posters judged to be the best by the adjudicating panel.
Poster abstract submissions are invited from all healthcare professionals, trainees and students.
Length and format
- Poster abstract submissions should be no longer than 250 words in length (excluding references, title, author, or contact details)
- You may include up to two diagrams/tables to illustrate the work
- References should follow Vancouver Convention (Name, title, publication, year, chapter, page number/s
- Please limit to five references
Your abstract submission should contain the following:
Briefly highlight why the project was undertaken and what the goals of the work included.
What methods were used to achieve the aims?
- Outcomes / Results
What was achieved? How were the achievements measured or tracked?
What do the above results mean for the service and patients?
Abstracts that do not adhere to these guidelines will not be considered.
